- 2010 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site at the Tejano Center for Community Concerns
- Earned Income Tax Assistance (EITC) Awareness Day 2010 on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Tejano Center for Community Concerns-Raul Yzaguirre School for Success
- Financial Literacy workshop, in partnership with Trustmark Bank, for parents at Sam Houston High School December 11, 2009
- Guest Speaker at the Comcast 1st Employee Mentorship program July 21, 2009
- Participant in the Marine Corps Educator Workshop in Quantico, Virginia - July 13-17, 2009
- MoneyWeek Houston 2009 with the Tejano Center for Community Concerns Homebuyers classes
- 2009 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site at the Tejano Center for Community Concerns
- Outreach and volunteer for free tax preparation services by IRS Certified VITA/TCE Volunteer preparer, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service Stakeholder Partnerships, Education & Communication (IRS-SPEC)
- 2008 Houston A+ Challenge Externship Program
- Volunteer coordination for the Houston Hispanic Forum Career and Education Day 2008
- Completed business plan training workshops for people with disabilities for February 2008
- Partner with 1st Annual Housing and Employment Resources Expo for People with Disabilities on September 22, 2007 http://www.houstontx.gov/disabilities/
- Conducted workshops at Alief ISD
- Executed a financial literacy event for the community at Westbury High School, creating a pilot after-school program on March 6, 2006
- Established an after-school program for the 2005-2006 school year at Southwest High School
- Brought the program to Forester Elementary School, providing financial literacy workshops for parents
